Now a multi-million dollar business, Colony Tire started out in 1976 with just two gasoline pumps in Rodanthe, NC.  Later that year a small oil company in Edenton was purchased.  In 1979, Colony purchased a small oil company in Roper, NC and became a Farm Bureau tire dealer there.  We began selling Goodyear tires in 1980. Today, Colony Tire is one of the leading tire distributors in North America. 500+ associates operate 225 vehicles and 40 locations in North Carolina and Virginia.
