And that’s why so many turn to Colony Tire for exceptional service and high quality products. Our automotive service experts can work on your air conditioning, rotate, balance, or align your tires, change your battery or brakes, check your vehicle’s diagnostics, fill your tires with nitrogen, and so much more. We offer virtually every under–the–hood service you need.

1. Air Conditioning

Don’t suffer in your car during those long summer days. A properly recharged and fully functioning air conditioning system will maximize your comfort while minimizing your gasoline usage. Let our fully trained and factory authorized Colony technicians run an air conditioning performance test before you hit the road. Test includes:

  • Air Conditioning System Check with Gauges
  • Temperature Test at All Outlets
  • Inspection with Leak Detection Equipment
  • Cooling System Inspection
  • Inspection of Belts and Hoses

2. Brakes

The brake system is the most important safety system on your car. Squeaky noises when braking, a soft brake pedal, or not stopping as quickly as you should are all signs of a potentially serious brake system problem. If you experience any of these conditions it is important to bring your vehicle into your local Colony Tire as soon as possible. Our complete brake service includes:

  • Cleaning/repacking wheel bearings
  • Where applicable; inspecting the hydraulic system
  • Where applicable; included metallic pads

3. Electrical Systems

Electrical systems are becoming increasingly complex. At Colony, our expert technicians can diagnose and fix the problem to get you back on the road. Electrical system repair or replacement includes:

  • Battery - checking cleanliness, connections and charge
  • Alternator - proper charging, connections, and belt tension
  • Starter - checking cleanliness and connections
  • Cables & Connections - removing rust and corrosion

In addition to providing service on your battery, alternator, and starter, Colony technicians are fully trained to diagnose and service all of the other electrical components in your vehicle including power windows, locks, headlights, wipers, dashboard components and more.

Let Colony’s trained technicians look at your vehicle if it exhibits any of the following symptoms:

  • Problems starting
  • Charging problems
  • Flickering or dimming lights
  • Electrical System indicator light on dashboard is lit

4. Engine Diagnostics

Each time your Check Engine light turns on it indicates a malfunction with engine performance or the emissions system. Many times this has something to due with increased emissions that will result in your car failing an emissions test. In fact, if the Check Engine light goes on during testing, your car will immediately fail the test.

Colony’s expert technicians have the state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, tools and training to properly diagnose the Check Engine and other warning lights.

5. Heating and Cooling

Changing your antifreeze is just like changing your oil. The coolant wears out and needs to be changed to prevent the breakdown of your system components. This will help prolong the life of your heating and cooling system and prevent costly future repairs.

At least twice a year, your heating and cooling system should be inspected. In addition to making sure that you are kept warm or cool, these systems are an integral part of your car’s engine. Don’t risk you or your car overheating due to fluid loss, corrosion, leaks or other problems.

6. Tune-ups

It’s a wonderful feeling knowing that when you turn on your car, the engine will jump to life and be ready to roar. Easy starting, engine responsiveness, and great gas mileage are all results of regular tune ups.
