We were driving from Raleigh to UNC Hospital on Tuesday in the rain when we heard a tire blow. Fortunately we were near exit 287 where Colony Tire was. I have done business there often and was hoping for some help.

Our appointment at UNC was at 3 pm and it was 2;15 when we got to Colony. Lynn greeted us as we explained our situation. We needed special performance tires and you had one. We were off in a flash as Lynn directed the repair. I must say it was the fastest ever that I have been helped EVER.

My son was able to make his appointment on time as he has been thru treatment of lukemia for about 2 years. I cannot thank you enough for the best service I have received EVER. Thanks and may GOD bless!!

Lynn and David really took care of my needs, and my truck, even though it placed them at a disadvantage. I know people want/need to go home after work, but these guys stayed to provide a level of service I haven't seen in quite some time..

I wanted to take a few  moments to let you know my appreciation for one of your employees - Trevor Garner - Store 28 at Colony Tire Corporation - located at 7931 Fayetteville Road, Raleigh, NC 27603.

On October 23, 2009, I experienced major car problems.  It just so happened this occurred within walking distance of the above mentioned Colony Tire Store.  Trevor is the Sales Manager there.  He assured me if he had to he would push the car to the store - to save me on towing charges.  Even though it was closing time, Trevor stayed and got my car to their store.  It turned out to be a major problem. Trevor assured me my car would be repaired the  next day (I also was provided a way home) -- sure enouigh, the  next morning, I received a call telling me the car had been repaired and ready for pick up.  As you can guess, I was provided a way there.

I since have experienced more car problems.  I did  not hesitate - I took my car to Store 28 and asked for Trevor.  Again, I received the same courteous service as previously experienced.  I tell everyone I know about Trevor and Store 28 at Colony Tire.  I will continue using this store for all my repairs.

Please express to Trevor my appreciation for all he did to make my expereince more bearable.

The awesome savings, along with the front end alignment, oil change and my Toyo tires gives me peace of mind while experiencing a very smooth ride in my 07 Ford Ranger. Rides better than when it was new! Just wanted to let you know the salesperson worked with me on the phone, as I was on my way to Sams Warehouse to make my tire purchase. Dear Holly,

A few weeks ago I stopped at your store for a tire quote mostly due to the proudly displayed sign that you have posted at the highway, "We'll beat anybody's price period". Upon entering, you asked to assist me and I asked for the OEM Michelin tires on my 2007 Honda Accord which are fairly expensive. Your first quote was high but when I advised you that I received two other quotes, and what the lowest one was, you calmly printed out a re-quote matching my lowest quote without the hassle of a mail-in rebate. What impressed me more was the fact that you asked for my business. I do not believe that I have ever had anyone pose that to me before, for any purchase. We agreed on the deal, my tires were at the store waiting for me when I came in, and all of your staff was pleasant and helpful. Holly, you have gained a customer. I am very pleased at how you manage this business and therefore will continue to return.

My experience witht he Colony store in Wilson on Airport Blvd owing a '99 Ford F-150 5.4 L Engine. Any fellow Ford owner is familiar with the ordeal of changing spark plugs in this vehicle. I carried my F-150 in to have just plugs changed and found out then the difficulty in doing so. Finding out it was a time consuming affair, the sales asst. mgr. Star carried me home to wait for the service to be done and then retrieved me later during the day.

The service technician "Billy" then informed me it would take longer or I could bring back to have service completed due to the great difficulty in removing/replacing the right rear plug way up underneath the firewall. I was greatly surprised and overwhelmed by his honesty. As once inthe past a service technician simply replaced seven (7) plugs and did not tell me and I assumed the job done and paid for the "Complete" Service. I feel it is a great and rare occurance to come across an honest man these modern times. For that reason I would not have any problem whatsoever to return or recommend to friends the Colony store on Airport Blvd in Wilson. A true outstanding/excellent staff who represent the Colony name very well.

I would like to sincerely thank Allen Merritt and the service technicians that repaired my vehicle while traveling thru morehead NC.

I had heard a noise while driving and decided to have them rotate the tires and check the front wheel bearings. As i had suspected the left front bearing was about to fail. They told me they could have it fixed promptly. Now mind you that this is almost closing time and they stayed to fix my vehicle.

I was really impressed by thier service, pricing, But most of all their HONESTY. Price of the repair was within very reasonable limits. Thank You

I was very impressed with the service and support we received when the car we were in would not start. We  on the way to Asheville from the outer banks, had stopped to gas up when the car failed to start. When we walked over to your business for help the men came and pushed our car into the bays. It was a Saturday afternoon,/holiday weekend, and we were quite frustrated to learn that no replacement parts were available until the next Tuesday. No rental cars could be found and we were stranded in Cary.

The three gentlemen mentioned above were all helpful and compassionate. They demonstrated excellent human relations skills, a rarity these days. Dale Carnegie would have been proud of them. Thanks to these men our experience was much less of a disaster than it could have been. Everyone went out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible while we waited. We were continuously updated and all questions were answered accurately and honestly.

You can be sure that I will recommend your business to others. Please let me know if there is something I can do in return. This was not a random act of kindness, but rather a purposeful one. I will be sure to pass it on and remember the care and thoughtfulness that was demonstrated here. I believe that you are most fortunate to have Scott, Ricky and Lynn in your organization. I had previously done business with merchant's tire but they tried to burn me on some warranty work.They would not give me a very good deal on some new tires even though I had all my paper work for rotating my tires with them every 3000 miles.I called colony tire in garner and talked to Holly,she beat mercant's price and that's where I bought my tires. Since then I purched tires for my truck from Holly and I will be buying some tires for my car before long.My neighbor was looking for tires and after checking around Holly had beat everybodys price just like the sign says out front THEY WILL BEAT ANYBODY'S PRICE!!

He alleviated my problem plus.  In my opinion he went above and beyond.  LJ (Lynn) is the personafication of customer service. We were returning from Florida to Pennsylvania.  When we pulled into our hotel Friday evening, all of a sudden we had a loud grinding noise in the rear brakes.  Thank goodness it didn't happen on I-95. 

Since I'm a member of AAA, I called them to see what they would recommend.  They gave me the number of the Colony Tire on Wesleyan Blvd in Rocky Mount. I called early in the AM and explained our situation.  It turns out we were about 3 miles away.  The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was wonderful.  He said they would see what they could do to help us.  We got to the shop at about 8 AM.  Everyone was WONDERFUL.  The entire place was SPOTLESS.  They took our car right in, checked the brakes, got the parts necessary for repair, and we were on the road by 10 AM.  That was important because the next day was my son's birthday and we really wanted to be home for that.  Everything that was done was explained to my husband in detail.  We felt the charges were very reasonable and we got an AAA discount as well. 

My past experiences with car trouble on a trip have been extremely negative.  Our friend was with us on this trip. He's a long time truck driver.  He said of all the experiences he's had with situations such as this, this has been the best.  I can't thank you enough.

I had the opportunity to stop by your store in Morehead City. We had met with a contractor in Morehead City on Monday morning and were then planning to head back to SC. We had been hearing a noise in the rear end when we were in Atlantic but coming through Morehead City the left rear tire started smoking. I told Brenda I would stop at Creighton's tire store up the street after we met with the contractor and let them look at it. We stopped at your store about 11:30 AM and they were real busy (I know you are glad to hear that).

I wanted you to know we got real good service at your store (when you are broke down on the road, service is a lot more important than price). They had it up on the lift in 15 minutes and said it was a failed wheel bearing and it had also damaged the housing,axle, and emergency brake. They called about parts and told me they could get bearing and housing in a couple of hours but it would be the next day to get an axle. They told me the bearing and housing would get us home, but the axle needed to be replaced soon as possible. I told them to go ahead and order the housing and bearing as we also had two cats with us. Richard Lee (Assistant Manager) ordered the parts and told us he would pick up the parts while at lunch if necessary. I asked Richard if I could drive our car up town to get something to eat while we waited for the parts. He said he would not recommend driving it and offered to let us drive the company truck to get lunch. So Brenda and I and our two cats drove your blue Colony Tire pick up to get lunch.

When we got back from lunch Danny Croom (Sales Manager) gave us a status report and by 3:30 PM we were back on the road. There were no problems coming home and we got back about 10:00PM last night.

I know you and your guys hear a lot of complaining but since this was the first time I had been to one of your stores I wanted to let you know I was impressed with the service I got.

She was the most educated, friendly professional I have encountered in a long, long time.  She explained to me things I didn't know in great detail and when I asked, "What are you, some kind of tire guru?" Holly replied, "You know, this is not just about tires, we're dealing with people's lives."  She genuinely cares.

It is so rare to find someone like her to do business with.  In fact all of the people at that store were oddly friendly, informative and they just seemed to really enjoy what they were doing.  If Holly is the manager there she is doing something right and I hope you personally call her and tell her to keep up the good job.  Please put this letter in her record for performance review time.  You need to do whatever to keep her with you for a long time and move her up in your company.  I bet this is not the first time you've heard that.

You've got all my future business and I am going to tell everyone I know to just forget shopping anywhere else and go see Holly...end of story.  The service was excellent, quick and the whole buying experience was perfect.  I couldn't be any more happy.

I want you to know what top quality and professional employees you have working in your Morehead City store. I recently found myself in a bit of a situation. I had a flat tire directly across the street from the store. I walked over and asked if someone could help. Danny and Richard really put me at ease. They took care  of getting enough air in my tire to get it to the shop. They repaired my tire and checked out my other tires to make sure they were ok. I mentioned to them that my husband was probably worrying about me not being home on time so they directed me to a phone so I could call him in private. They even gave me a cup of coffee. While I was waiting for my tire to be repaired I sat there thinking that these employees are an example of "home town courtesy" and they are a perfect example of why I choose to spend my money locally.  You should be very proud of these employees. I know I am and I will continue to do business with Colony Tire because of their attitude and commitment.
