I've done business with your store here for several years but recently needed a new set of tires and dealt with your managger Dan. You're very fortunate to have him running your facility. He's very plesant to work with and truly understands "customer service". He went out of his way to get my business and out of his way to be sure I was pleased with the outcome. I have no doubt that should I have a problem he'll step up and make it right. He represents himself and the company extremely well. Please convey my appreciation and thanks to him.

I wanted to put bigger tires on my truck on larger non-OEM rims. The guys hooked me up with a tire that I had chosen, but I realized after a couple days of driving that the tires rubbed a bit too much. Howard and Jeff and the team worked with me through two other sets of tires until we found the perfect customized fit. Customer service couldn't have been better! You guys have gained a customer for life.

I travel a lot, and on the express way I got a spike in my tire. I was able to pull in thinking it was a Sams club on my GPS, but better yet it was a tire store. I was on my way back to WV then to NY from being away from home since April - I work for Fema and it was a long hard season.
The staff fixed my tire, and the tech went to school in the same town I did in NY; the manager was awesome, I made it safely back and I wanted to say thank you and have a safe holiday season. There are still true gentleman in this world !!!

Lynn and the team at this Colony Tire location on Harrison Rd. in Cary have serviced my since it was new in 2006. Professional, knowledgeable, HONEST and courteous service kept me loyal for 5 years. More recently I decided to buy some aftermarket wheels. I checked out most of the local tire/wheel discounters as well as the internet distributors. They all had acceptable choices, but nothing seemed to inspire me.
I stopped by Colony for an oil change, and when I mentioned my interest to Lynn he asked me to take a seat for a few minutes. Lynn took the time tor really research proper rim/tire dimensions that would compliment my car. He looked at a "total solution" for my car that included proper functioning, real world practicality, fitment, and style. Lynn put together several tire /wheel combinations, and we settled on the one that we both agreed would really finish out the look of my car. They got the wheels/rims onto my car and WOW, what a difference!! They looked just perfect for the image that I was trying to present! Lynn really analyzed what I was trying to accomplish and came up with a FABULOUS solution. I never knew that the right combination of tires/rims could make such a big difference in the appearance AND ride of the car, Lynn got both things spot on! And, having shopped local dealers and the internet, I knew the price was right.
Working with Lynn, Ricky, and the rest of the team was truly an educational and FUN experience!

Just a quick note to let you know how much I appreciate the folks in your New Bern store. I've been using that location for routine maintenance on both of my family's vehicles for some time now and have always been pleased.
Recently I purchased tires and an alignment for my truck. I had a few minor questions / issues after the work was complete. The counter staff went out of their way to address my concerns and make sure I was satisfied. They're courteous, professional, efficient, and most important of all, knowledgeable about the products and services they offer. It's a pleasure doing business with your organization.

Hey, Ed! Share this if you can with the other guys because I want them to know how much your work and care means to me! You guys are so great! Thank you once again for fixing something for me that I feared might turn into a hard-to-remedy problem and extending the Subaru’s life a little bit longer! I can’t believe I’ve been driving that 28 year old car for 26 years now, very nearly half my whole life!!! You are always so kind and patient, and Darrell (please correct my spelling – is it Daryl?) does indeed have the magic touch!!! Cheers and my eternal thanks!

I stopped into the shop to have the guys look into a thumping noise that I had been experiencing for some time. After replacing two worn tires the technician Curtis observed that my rim was slightly bent and was the likely cause of the noise. He pointed out to me that the tire actually could pass balancing and may have actually been placed on the car again if he had not noticed it.
Because of his attention to detail, and his mind on customer service and quality, he prevented a return trip and validated my belief that Ken runs a quality operation. The front desk was able to quickly locate a used rim for me and installed it in time for me to enjoy my Saturday. As a lab manager in a local pharmaceutical based business, I understand that customer service is the lifeblood of any service organization. Because of Ken and Curtis, as long as I live in the RTP area, they will always have my business.

We came in with an odd tire off of a vintage car and Steve Carey (Store Manager) and his team worked with us to find the right tire and the correct tube. Each member of the team was patient and kind during the process which required some time given the challenges of finding the right tube and tire. These guys were great to work with and both my wife Lori and I enjoyed the experience. Thanks!! Steve and Lori

I have to compliment both the front desk personnel and the Technician who worked on my vehicle. I am very particular about my vehicles and only take them in for things I can not do myself.
Communication was excellent throughout the process and the alignment done on my modified Mustang was done quickly and properly with no issues what-so-ever. One of the best experiences at an auto center ever. I will recommend this shop to anyone who needs quaility work done by competent, caring personnel at a competetive price.

I started doing business at this store because it was on the way to work and fit my schedule. They gave us a company discount and they would take me to work. I quickly realized that I had found one of the best places to do business with I have ever been to.
They are a hard working and dedicated team of concerned professionals who make customer service their mantra. My most recent experience was very unique to say the least. I was going on a long drive to Tulsa in my wifes van and decided to have it looked over in preparation for the trip.
I soon realized that there were some major things that needed to be done or we would not make it. Lynn reviewed the work with me and helped me prioritize what needed to be done and then we worked out what I could do on the budget I had to stay within. It was a concerted effort to work with me to be sure that the most important things were done at a price I could live with. As the departure date was fairly close upon us everything, (ball joints, tie rod, timing chain, valve cover gasket, etc), was done in an efficient and rapid manner by the dedicated mechanics working together to be sure everyones vehicle is repaired quickly and correctly the first time. When the alignment wasnt acting right we determined that the tires were at fault and they made me an outstanding deal on two of those as well. (An added benefit came when they eliminated a significant amount of noise that we had been listening to, which Lynn said they would, and thus made the trip even more enjoyable. )
The MOST unusual part of the whole process came when Lynn actually told me it was time to stop spending money. We had done enough for the trip and I could take care of the rest when we got back. I was floored to say the least. When was the last time a business told you that? He knew my budget concerns and was determined to help me stay within them. It confirmed the thought that had been developing for some time. They do it because they care. They have the customer in mind in all aspects of what they do; a rare commodity these days to be sure. You can be certain that I will get the rest done there too.
The Christmas trip, (ergo the budget), went off without a mechanical hitch of any kind thanks, I am sure, to the grace of God and the hard work and planning done by the team at Colony Tire. I cannot say enough about these gentlemen and the way they have taken care of my vehicles, (old pickups and vans to new performance cars), over the years but I will do the best thing a satisfied customer can do. I will keep going back and I will HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who will listen or who needs anything for their vehicle from tires to regular maintenance to repair.
Thanks Colony Tire, for hiring a team like this. If the rest of your stores come anywhere near this one, your success is assured.

I was in the Outer Banks last month for a quick getaway. I got lost briefly and in my haste to find my hotel, I made a quick turnaround in a convenience store. Unfortunately, I wasn’t paying very close attention and bashed into the curb and blew out my front tire. I put on my spare and checked into my hotel. The next day, I asked the lady at the front desk where I could go to get a tire and she told me to go to Colony Tire. I went to the store and was greeted by David Jones. I wanted to let you know that Mr. Jones exemplifies what customer service should be. He was busy, but he never seemed rushed. He treated each customer with patience and attention despite frequent phone calls, mechanics asking him questions, and a short line of customers waiting to be helped. He was courteous to me, polite, and found a tire that was priced fairly. I left the blown-out tire and told him I’d pick it up later that day. When I went to pick up the tire, David was there again, still helpful and pleasant. I paid for the tire and he told me he’d have it back on my car in a few minutes. Imagine my surprise when I found that he not only put the tire back on my car, but replaced my spare tire AND jack exactly the way they belonged in my trunk despite the fact that I had just tossed them into the trunk in a hurry. That’s some impressive customer service. I work in a customer-service-based business and it’s the single most important factor in building a business. David Jones did much, much more than was expected or needed, and he did it with a smile and a wonderful attitude. You can tell he enjoys his job. I wanted to let you know what a treasure you have in this man and I would appreciate it if you pass on to him my belated thanks.

Good Evening Jason: I wanted to provide a compliment about your manager Joey Bold and his team. As a single female, I have concerns about being taken advantage of with my car service and repairs. Joey is always kind and considerate to me and I've never felt uneasy about the work that is done on my vehicle. There have been several stores in the area where I've been treated unkindly and I believe at other times deceived. I feel very confident when Joey's team works on my car and I know that the service is performed to the best of their ability. In addition, Joey ensures that the work is completed within a reasonable dollar amount which I can afford, he has never tried to take advantage of my situation. He has always treated me with the most upstanding consideration and kindness which is another reason I continue to bring my car there for routine maintenance and other work. Joey is truly an asset for maintaining the repeat customer. I believe that Joey and his team should be recognized for their outstanding quality of work and a genuine attitude that the "customer is priority." Too often an employee is not recognized for the good work that employees do for their company. We all seek to be praised and appreciated for a job well done - don't you? Should you have additional questions or concerns please feel free to inquire. Kind Regards,

There are 2 main reasons why I will continue to give Colony Tire my business. First because of the coupons online for an oil change, which is my main reason for going. Second, y'all don't try to sell me everything under the sun in that this and that need to be replaced or whatnot. I've come to trust Colony - if they recommend something needs to be done then chances are it needs to be done.

Mr. Barkley, My family is leaving for vacation on Saturday and I noticed that our back passenger side tire on my wife's car had a leak somewhere. I could not find a puncture in the tire so my wife stopped by Colony Tire on Wesleyan Blvd in Rocky Mount today and asked them to check the tire and repair it. She had no appointment and within 20 minutes they were inspecting the tire. They checked the tire, valve stem and found a leak at the tire sensor where it was loose. They corrected the problem by tightening the connection, adjusted the air in ALL the tires and did not charge her. I can not begin to express my gratitude for their willingness to assist and at no cost. It is refreshing to see businesses in today's world who go above and beyond a customer's expectations. I assure you that this act of kindness and dedicated customer service will be rewarded, because the Colony Tire on Wesleyan Boulevard in Rocky Mount has won a new customer. As a matter of fact I will be replacing my tires after the first of the year. Please express our gratitude to your organization and to those at the Wesleyan Blvd. location. Sincerely,

I was in Cary NC shopping today, with my infant girl. My car overheated and I was close to Colony Tire so I pulled in and asked if I could wait inside with my daughter, until the radiator cooled enough to open it.
Lynn Jackson not only said yes, but he went and got my vehicle and added coolant to it for me, then pulled the car around and turned on the air condition to cool the car for my daughter. When I asked how much I owed him, he said there was no charge.
It's nice to know that people like that are still out there. He is truly an asset to your business!! Excellent! Thank You,

I have been doing business with the downtown Rocky Mount Colony Tire location for many years. I have always received great service.
I purchased tires from Colony Tire with the Road Hazard Warranty never thinking I would really need it. I was driving along Raleigh Road when I veered off the road to hit a drainage grate; both of my tires on the right front and back were cut instantly. Colony Tire replaced my tires under the warranty.
Thank you for your courteous and professional employees at this location. I will certainly recommend Colony Tire to all my friends and family. And getting the warranty on Road Hazard really does pay off; you never know what can happen.

Greetings! This email is in regard to the outstanding service I experienced when I visited your store on June 12 to have a car, I thought about purchasing, checked by a mechanic. Beginning with the initial phone call, to the time I drove it out of the parking lot, I was very pleased with the outstanding service I received. Mike Mack checked the vehicle and spoke with me concerning several issues. Mike was very professional when he spoke with me both before and after. He was thorough and well worth the time and money I spent. Mike even went as far as recommending a car salesperson who, he felt, would provide me with a better quality vehicle. Congratulations on a job well done!

I would like to thank Mr. Lynn Jackson and Mr. Oliver Evans for the help my family received on the way to a family reunion in Williamston NC.
My mother, brother, and I were on our way from Montgomery, AL to Williamston, NC for a family reunion, when a tire split on the interstate and we slowly made our way off the exit to find a closed Colony Tire Store. Mr. Jackson and Mr. Evans were pulling out of the parking lot and both turned around when they saw us park in the lot. Not only did they make the time to check out the tire, remove the split tire, and put on a used tire they had, but did not even charge us for the tire.
We got on our way and went to the Colony Tire in Williamston, NC to buy two new tires. I want to thank both of those gentlemen for helping us out.

Dear Colony Tire Corporate Office,
I have been doing business with the downtown Rocky Mount Colony Tire location for many years. I have always received great service. The care and concern for your customers seems most important to your employees. I am what you might call a road warrior. I am in sales, covering 31 counties, logging over 1200 miles per week. Al Hickman mentioned to me that I may benefit from using nitrogen in my tires rather than compressed air. I told him that I doubted there could be any difference, that tire pressure is tire pressure. Al did a great job of explaining the difference of nitrogen over air. I opted to have the nitrogen installed in my tires. I drive a 2005 model Ford Crown Victoria with a V-8 engine.
I averaged on the road 19 miles per gallon. After a couple of months of running nitrogen in the tires, I have averaged 21.5 mpg. That is a 2.5mpg improvement, resulting in an estimated weekly fuel savings of approximately 7 gallons of gas. 7 gallons of gas X $2.79 = $19.53 saved per week. Al made a believer out of me. Others may not drive as many miles as I do, but the percentage of savings would be constant. I highly recommend to all using nitrogen in their tires.
Sincerely,

My wife and I have lived in New Bern, NC for the past 12 years. On many occasions, since 1998, we have bought tires and had our 2 cars serviced at Colony Tire. It's always been a pleasure doing business with Jason Wilson. A couple of weeks ago, I took our 2000 Lincoln LS (60K miles and like new in condition) to a local car dealer for some service work. One of the service coordinators informed me that there was only about 3000 miles left on the front break pads, the rotors needed to be turned and the brake fluid changed. I put off making an appointment at that time. For this work on our Lincoln, I made an appointment with Jason and also discussed the situation with Dan Cook, Colony's Service Manager. At 1pm today the car was on the rack with Gary Wakeman responsible for the work. To make a long story short, Gary told Dan that he didn't feel that the work was even needed. Dan told me what Gary had discovered and after the three of us inspected the car, I couldn't have agreed with him more. Jimmy, I very much appreciate what Gary Wakeman and Dan Cook did today. This experience was a real eye opener for me. I will not forget the honest and professional manner in which this situation was handled by Gary and Dan. You are indeed fortunate to have them, and Jason Wilson, on your team.

I'm writing to express my thanks to you for the excellent treatment I received from the folks at Colony Tire in Wilson, NC. On 4/15/2010, I was traveling down I-95 on my way to visit friends in SC and FL. I was driving my Mercedes SL-500 that has the "Sport Package", and accordingly, somewhat unique tires. I experienced a complete failure of the left rear tire and found myself on the side of the road, wondering what I was going to do and when, if ever, I might reach my friend's house in SC. I called The Tire Rack and began to inquire about the availability of tires, and they told me that they had an authorized installer in Wilson, just south of my position. When I called the Colony Tire store, the manager was immediately helpful. He checked his warehouse inventory and immediately quoted me a price on two new tires that was more competitive than Tire Rack's price, and told me he would get them delivered from the warehouse immediately, just in case I needed them. When the tow vehicle dropped me at the store, Ricky Taylor was at the counter and was helpful and very reassuring. The young men in the shop were polite and competent and worked on my vehicle with speed and precision. Mr. Barkley came out to introduce himself and shake my hand. I was impressed with the cleanliness and order in the shop area, and again, with the extremely courteous demeanor of all of the Colony personnel. Before I knew it, I was ready to head south again. The kind folks at Colony Tire had made my catastrophe into nothing more than a minor delay. I was so impressed with them, and with the bag of salted peanuts that they gave me, that I called several of my friends and related my wonderful experience. It was as fine a treatment as anyone could have hoped to receive. Thank you, Tony, Ricky and all the folks of Colony Tire of Wilson, NC, for helping make a stranger in a strange place, with a problem he didn't know how he was going to solve, get back on his way with a minimum of anxiety. Your kindness and professionalism were great, and I felt like I made some new friends. You can be sure that I will recommend Colony Tire to my friends in the southeast and that I will visit you again when I am in the area. Oh...and Parker's Barbeque (where you directed me) was just as good as the first time I dined there 20-odd years ago. Thank you again! Sincerely,
